The Cavinder twins are back on the hardwood together, ready to make headlines in their final college basketball season at the University of Miami.
Haley and Hanna, the twins, who have a big social media presence, posted an Instagram reel wearing their Miami Hurricanes jerseys, proclaiming:
"basketball shorts tucked is the only right choice"
Hanna captioned the reel:
"always the right choice," tagging her sister, Haley.
The twins took the last season off to focus on their business ventures and brand partnerships. Initially, Haley had planned to transfer to TCU, but watching her sister train reignited her passion for the game. In an interview with the New York Post, Hanna explained:
"Watching Haley train and get ready for the season made me realize that I wasn’t ready to stop playing. I love basketball and I know I won’t be able to play it forever. Being with my sister is the perfect way to finish out my career.
Haley echoed Hanna’s sentiments, adding:
"We want to end our college basketball careers on a high note, and we wanted to do it together."
Their return is not just about finishing their basketball careers but also about giving themselves one more shot at a national title.
Luck has little to do with success of Cavinder twins
Hanna and Haley Cavinder have redefined what it means to be successful college athletes in the NIL era. The queens of NIL Deals have harnessed the groundbreaking policy that allows athletes to monetize their Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) to its fullest potential.
While some may attribute their success to luck (them being twins), their relentless work ethic and dedication say otherwise.
It takes strength and discipline to start your day at 5:30 AM alongside the Miami Hurricanes and ensuring personal peak fitness. Then, juggling brand contracts and managing their personal ventures, including their fitness app - 'Twogether', is also done.
Having a combined NIL valuation of $1.7 million (as per On3), the Cavinder twins have mastered the art of landing brand partnerships. They have managed to strike partnerships with major brands like Under Armour and WWE. Social media presence, especially on TikTok, helps in promoting these brands.
Their story is a powerful example of how the NIL policy can empower athletes, providing them with the tools and skills for long-term success.
