Miami Hurricanes star Hanna Cavinder displayed her strong support for her boyfriend, Georgia quarterback Carson Beck, during the showdown between the Bulldogs and Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets last Friday. The Bulldogs overcame a 17-0 halftime deficit to defeat their rivals 44-42 in eight overtimes.
One of the highlights of the game was Beck's 25-yard pass, caught by Cash Jones, which tied the game at 40.
On Saturday, an excited Hanna Cavinder shared a TikTok video in which she wore a Georgia half top, combat trousers and cap, while the song, "CUTESY" by Maytte played in the background.
"Me when it's time to watch my BF play," the video was captioned.
Hanna Cavinder and Carson Beck were both spotted together at Lake Michigan during the Fourth of July. The couple confirmed they were dating after they went Instagram official in August.
Since then, Cavinder has shown constant love and support to her boyfriend, often sharing photos and videos of herself watching his games.
Hanna Cavinder leaves Thanksgiving dinner table over "Cavinder curse" question
Hanna Cavinder and her twin, Haley, have continued to enjoy successes off and on the court. However, Hanna's relationship with Carson Beck continues to spark controversies.
On Thursday, the Cavinder sisters reunited with their sister, Natalie to celebrate Thanksgiving. The three sisters were featured in a TikTok video where each of them pretended to leave the dinner table over questions they did not like.
Natalie left when she was asked when she would move out with her family. Haley did the same when asked about her boyfriend, Dallas Cowboys' Jake Ferguson's future NFL games instead of questions about her upcoming basketball fixtures. Hanna left the dinner table when asked:
"What's a Cavinder curse?"
The Cavinder curse refers to a joke to describe Carson Beck's slump in form after he began dating Hanna. Beck was predicted to be a Heisman candidate and one of the top prospects for the 2025 NFL. However, his slow start to the season left doubts in many fans' and experts' minds. Some fans blamed Hanna for "cursing" him which affected his performance.
The Cavinder twins tried to dispel the myth about the curse. They shared a video of the Bulldogs' 31-17 win against the Tennessee Volunteers, which was met with mixed reactions.
Meanwhile, Hanna and Haley continue to enjoy a stellar season for the Miami Hurricanes. The twins helped the Hurricanes defeat Charlotte 46ers 79-63 on Friday. Haley scored 19 points, while Hanna got nine points, nine assists and two steals to help Miami go to 5-0.
