Hanna and Haley Cavinder are returning to college basketball and are actively taking on the role of promoting the sport on various platforms. The twins attended the Forbes 30 Under 30 Summit in late September, where they spoke about their role as co-founders of Hustle Beauty.
On Friday, the brand shared some behind-the-scenes moments from Hanna and Haley Cavinder's time in Cincinnati, Ohio.
"A peek behind the scenes of an incredible day at the Forbes 30 under 30 Summit where our co-founders, @cavindertwins, had the privilege to join as speakers! 🔥," the caption read.
Hanna and Haley Cavinder have mastered the act of turning their brand and following into wealth. When NIL was first introduced in 2021, the Cavinder twins were the first of the few student-athletes to actively participate in brand deals and, at one point, raked in almost $2 million in sponsorships.
The Cavinder twins' current prominent deal apart from Hustle Beauty is Under Armour. They signed a three-year deal with the brand in July and will be promoting their footwear and apparel.
Hanna and Haley Cavinder express excitement about bringing more attention to women's sports
In the last two years, viewership of women's college basketball has increased thanks to players like Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese, JuJu Watkins and Paige Bueckers.
Hanna Cavinder commented on the rise in attention in an interview with Seventeen in July.
“I think last year was awesome for the game,” Hanna says. “I think just being able to see so many powerful athletes be able to grow the game, like Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese, I think a lot of people were way more tuned into [women’s sports] ...
"I think these players going into the WNBA is going to create way more opportunities. So it’s a win-win for all athletes. It’s cool to see the game change.”
Meanwhile, Haley Cavinder shared her excitement in carrying forward this task and bringing more attention during her final college season with the Miami Hurricanes.
“I think that it shows that once you put women on television, people are going to tune in,” Haley said. “I think for the younger generation of girls [watching], women’s basketball is on the rise. I’m just excited to be back. I think that the game is growing and evolving and it’s about time because women deserve the same love as men in this space.”
Hanna and Haley Cavinder will play their first game of the 2024-25 season against Stetson on Nov. 4.
