She received a warm homecoming welcome during the Ducks' football game against Maryland.

The video is of Ionescu entering the stadium and walking around inside with the trophy in hand as fans erupted in cheers and applause for the Liberty star. She wore the program's green and orange hoodie that read "OREGON DUCKS" on it, displaying her pride for her alma mater.
Ionescu appeared as a guest on the B1G Tailgate show before attending the Oregon-Maryland game, where she predicted the Ducks to have an easy win.
"I mean, obviously, Ducks by a million. I’ve said it; I’m gonna say it again," Sabrina said. "But I’m going Dillon Gabriel is going to throw for over four touchdowns."
Sabrina Ionescu led the Oregon women's basketball team to the Final Four during her time in Eugene. She played there for four seasons and went on to be the #1 overall pick in the 2020 WNBA draft by the New York Liberty.
The 5-foot-11 guard was crucial for the Liberty team that won the WNBA trophy this year. She averaged 16.9 points, 5.3 rebounds and 5.3 assists per game in the playoffs.
Sabrina Ionescu reveals her role in Caitlin Clark's Oregon visit
Despite being rivals for most of their college careers, Sabrina Ionescu and Caitlin Clark, the two WNBA superstars have a genuine friendship and mutual respect.
While at Oregon, Ionescu played a huge role in arranging Clark's unofficial visit to Eugene. Speaking on the B1G Tailgate show, Ionescu shed light on how that trip came to be.
"I've known her for a while. She actually took her visit here with her dad, and I was kind of showing her around Eugene," Sabrina said.
"And to be able to see what she has been able to accomplish in college, and now at the professional level, it just helps all of us continue to push the game forward and advocate for women's sports."
Meanwhile, Caitlin Clark also recalled the moment when Sabrina Ionescu welcomed her to Oregon's campus.
"Obviously, Oregon recruited me so when I went out there Sabrina was around the whole time and you got to see how genuine of a person she was, on top of being the best basketball player in America," Clark said.
Ionescu will be at Matthew Knight Arena on Sunday to see Oregon take on No. 12 Baylor.
