WATCH: Paige Bueckers, Azzi Fudd and UConn teammates do goofy TikTok trend ahead of game vs Notre Dame

Paige Bueckers, with Azzi Fudd, Sarah Strong, Ice Brady and KK Arnold, showed off their dancing skills on TikTok joining the "Trip Out" trend, vibing to "Clumsy" by Fergie with hook steps. A fan shared the video on Instagram on Wednesday with the caption:

"this is what an undefeated uconn team looks like "

The Huskies' joy was short-lived as they lost their first game of the season against Notre Dame on Thursday. UConn was without Azzi Fudd. On the other end, Hannah Hidalgo-Olivia Miles' duo was too much for Paige Bueckers, as the Huskies lost 79-68. The senior guard finished with 25 points and three rebounds.

"This is a major win for us," Notre Dame coach Niele Ivey said. "Obviously, it's just one win, but I'm really grateful for this group and really proud of our effort and the way that we showed up today with such toughness and discipline."

Hannah Hidalgo finished with 29 points, 10 rebounds, eight assists and three steals. UConn coach Geno Auriemma commented on the sophomore guard's performance, saying:

"Her talent is obvious. There's a talent level that she has that's pretty unique. But I think more importantly is the way she attacks everything that she does. The way she attacks your defense, the way when she's on defense, she attacks your offense, and the way that she leads her team in so many different ways.

"I think you put all those three things together, and it's just a really, really, really difficult matchup for anybody. She does what she does, and I don't know that there's a lot of strategies that you can use."

Paige Bueckers praises Hannah Hidalgo after UConn's loss

Paige Bueckers, with Hannah Hidalgo and JuJu Watkins, are the faces of women's college basketball and their games always draw heavy attention. Despite not having the home-court advantage, Hidalgo and Notre Dame came out victorious.

"Hidalgo is the head of the snake," Bueckers said post-game. "She does a lot of great things offensively, defensively. She's a pest. I think the best thing that she does is her energy and her attitude and the way she leads that team with that and the fire that she brings."

The win leads the Fighting Irish to extend their winning streak against the Huskies to three games. UConn will next face Georgetown on Sunday while Notre Dame will play against Eastern Michigan.
