Within hours, Hall's TikTok video garnered more than 800 likes and was warmly received by her 36,000 followers on the platform.
Hall has credited her family for their immense support throughout her college basketball journey. Bree Hall emerges as key figure in South Carolina
Bree Hall enjoyed a standout high school basketball career at Wayne High, leading the team to its first-ever state quarterfinal in her senior season. She became a five-star recruit, ranked as the No. 5 guard and No. 14 overall prospect in the Class of 2021.
While Hall did not start a game during her freshman and sophomore seasons at South Carolina, she became an integral part of the Gamecocks' lineup last season. She started all 37 games, averaging 9.2 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.4 assists as coach Dawn Staley's team secured their second national championship in three years.
Now in her senior year, Hall remains a key figure in the Gamecocks' starting five. Through 12 games this season, she has averaged 6.8 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.1 assists.
The Gamecocks have made a strong start to the 2024-25 season, winning 11 of their first 12 games. They are currently ranked No. 2 in the AP Top 25, trailing only the UCLA Bruins, who handed them their sole loss of the season.
South Carolina will face Wofford on Dec. 29 before kicking off their conference schedule on Jan. 2 against Missouri.
