South Carolina forward Chloe Kitts celebrated her one-year anniversary with boyfriend Collin Murray-Boyles. The forward shared a video on TikTok on Friday where the two held a cake together and later shared a kiss, mouthing the words, "It's our anniversary."

"365 days🤍," she wrote in the caption.

While Chloe Kitts is playing her third year in South Carolina, Collin Murray-Boyles is in his sophomore year with the Gamecocks men's basketball team. The couple celebrated Christmas together in New York City and shared photographs of their late-night stroll in Times Square and other holiday activities on social media.

Chloe Kitts continues to expand her game with Dawn Staley and South Carolina

Chloe Kitts has seen the most growth on the Gamecocks roster since she joined the team in 2022. Before the season began, it was predicted that this could be Kitts' breakout year, and the forward is slowly proving it to be true.

In the last two years, Kitts saw restricted time on the court due to the presence of star center Kamilla Cardoso. With her now in the WNBA, Kitts is slowly taking over, playing an average of 19.0 minutes per game. She is also averaging 10.1 points and 7.8 rebounds this season.

South Carolina coach Dawn Staley commented on Kitts playing restricted minutes and reasoned it as an effect of her inconsistent playing.

“You know, Chloe wants it bad. Sometimes it works for her and sometimes it works against her. Today it worked for her. ... She did take some bad shots over Thanksgiving. And I took her out because of it."

However, Staley also spoke about the preparations and the efforts that Chloe Kitts puts into expanding her game.

"I’m happy because Chloe pours into herself," Staley said. "She does all the right things in regards to prepping herself. She does all the right things in making lifestyle changes in order for her to play this way.
"She wants to be a pro. So she’s active in doing things and creating habits that will help her. I want basketball to repay her for that every time she steps on the floor because there’s so many that they just come to practice and that’s it. They don’t do any extra. She does all the extra."

With the holiday break coming to an end, Kitts and South Carolina will return to action on Sunday against Wofford.
