In the video posted to Instagram and X, the players heading to the practice session relayed the message one by one. While some, like Te-Hina Paopao, Ashlyn Watkins and Chloe Kitts, kept it simple with "I love you" and "Appreciate you," others went into detail.

"I love you so much and appreciate you so much even though it doesn't seem like it every single day. And you're not funny," Tessa Johnson said.

Some players had a common message to all the dads of the team and in the world.

"We love you guys because you do what you do. You make us women," Raven Johnson said.
"I want to thank all the dads. Happy Father's Day. Thank you so much for creating my beautiful, beautiful teammates, because I love them so much," Sakima Walker said.

"Flowers to all dads. Thank you guys for being the supportive fathers that you guys are," Feagin said as Bree Hall added, "And this goes for the stepdads, the granddads, the uncles."

A few, like Bree Hall, extended their gratitude to their father for driving them to practice and being there for them.

The South Carolina Gamecocks are preparing for another dominant campaign after their undefeated, championship-winning season. They should enter the season as one of the favorites to win it again. South Carolina has all the pieces it needs with Tessa Johnson, MyLasia Fulwiley, Te-Hina Paopao and Raven Johnson returning.

New recruit Adhel Tac, who joined early for the spring semester, is expected to contribute in the upcoming season. Top recruit Joyce Edwards will also join the team this fall and should immediately impact the team.
