TCU transfer Hailey Van Lith attended the Dallas Mavericks vs. San Antonio Spurs game on Thursday with her brother, Tanner. Mavericks won 120-109.
Van Lith rocked a nerdy look, with black spectacles and pigtails courtside. The look went well with a black and white sweater and an Adidas x Gucci collab sling bag.
Van Lith was mic'ed up and was seen breaking down Klay Thompson's impressive bucket.
"The thing is, regular people don't understand how tough that shot is...It's so hard. He's right-handed so like left actually, moving to my left, 'cause I'm left-handed is harder."
Hailey Van Lith had a successful summer as she not only won a bronze medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics, she also earned her master's degree from LSU.
Hailey Van Lith discusses her time at the Kim Mulkey-led LSU
Hailey Van Lith played with the LSU Lady Tigers last season but joined the TCU Horned Frogs for the fifth and final year of her college career in April 2024.
What was expected to be her best college basketball career could not come to fruition. She talked more about her time at LSU and what she learned there at 2024 Big 12 Media Days on Tuesday.
(From 8:45):
"I think the last year of my career, I don't think I'm going to reap the fruits of that yet. I think that will come when I'm a pro. That year prepared me for the pros and what it's going to be like at that level."
"From a self-how to regulate yourself, how to make work something that isn't necessarily perfect for you how to make the best out of any situation," she continued. "I think that what I learned last year will pay off for me in a couple of years and the world might not see it yet but I know that it's going to come."
Hailey Van Lith expressed confidence that the TCU Horned Frogs will turn out to be a great fit for her in the upcoming season. She and her new teammates face the Houston Baptist Huskies in November.
