Hailey Van Lith, a TCU Horned Frogs star, made a stylish statement on the orange carpet ahead of the WNBA All-Star game on Thursday night. She arrived in Phoenix, Arizona, a day before for the USA 3x3 team's training camp.
The 2024 WNBA All-Star orange carpet event captivated fans with the chic outfits of their favorite players. GQSports captured a video of Van Lith while she made her way down the carpet. Van Lith wore a tailored grey blazer paired with matching shorts, creating a cohesive look. Her Alexander Wang white flap bag was the highlight of her outfit.
The small orb bag is priced between $750 to $855 on the Alexander Wang website. Made purely from leather, it had a trim on the curved bottom edge and silver accents, giving it a modern feel. The design matched her look perfectly. Furthermore, a crisp white shirt underneath the blazer, with clean lines and a tucked-in style, added a touch of sophistication to her outfit.
The WNBA All-Star game will be played between Team USA and Team WNBA this season on July 20 at the Footprint Center. However, Hailey Van Lith missed out on both rosters, but she will play in a 3x3 exhibition game on July 19 for Team USA against the U-23 team as a practice game ahead of the Paris Olympics, which starts a week from Friday.
Hailey Van Lith pumped to join the US 3x3 Olympic team
Hailey Van Lith is a five-time FIBA gold medalist for the USA. She has been winning gold since she started playing for the under-17 national team. The 2024 Olympics will be the third time she will represent the country at a senior level.
The 5-foot-7 guard could not contain her emotions when she received an invitation to join the USA Olympic team on June 5:
"Getting to compete for my country in the Olympics and represent my family, my home, and TCU is a dream come true. I am extremely humbled and grateful for this opportunity. I cannot wait to compete in Paris and be able to showcase my skills on the biggest global stage of them all." [H/T Dallas News]
Van Lith also played a crucial role for the USA 3x3 team at the 2023 FIBA World Cup. In a 16-12 final win against France, she scored seven points and grabbed six rebounds to lead her team to win the gold.
