UConn star Paige Bueckers attended her teammate Azzi Fudd's 8th annual Hooping for a Cure basketball camp on Saturday. The two-day event took place at St. John's College HS in Washington, D.C.
A video uploaded by Bueckers' fan page on Instagram shows the 6-foot guard engaging with fans during Fudd's camp. One fan handed her a friendship bracelet during a session, which she promptly put on and thanked them for the gesture.
Azzi Fudd has been actively volunteering at the Hooping for a Cure camp for the past eight years. Boys and girls from grades 3 to 8 can register every summer to learn new skills and drills, play competitive games, participate in contests and get a special camp t-shirt.

"Even though Paige is my best friend, she is one of the most annoying people ever. She's like a thousand siblings. Our friendship is very up and down, we fight a lot. With Paige, everything turns into a competition. It can be absolutely anything.
Last season, Bueckers averaged 21.9 points, 5.2 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game, while Fudd recorded 11.0 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists.
