UConn's Azzi Fudd, Ice Brady and Kamorea Arnold are Savage x Fenty's brand partners and the trio received special gifts. Fudd posted a video of the Huskies players showing off their new Essential Fleece Hoodies.
Arnold explained that the hoodies were very comfy and cozy, perfect for the Fall weather.
"Loving our sets from @savagexfenty !," Fudd wrote in the caption
Azzi Fudd is a graduate senior who returns to court this season after being sidelined last year with a torn ACL injury. Fans and experts expected the guard to play a crucial role in helping Paige Bueckers on their championship quest.
KK Arnold and Ice Brady are incoming sophomore players. With senior players sidelined due to injuries, the two, along with Ashlynn Shade, had to step up with extra minutes last season despite being in their freshman season.
Arnold averaged 8.9 points, 3.1 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 2.3 steals in 30.3 minutes of game time per contest. Brady averaged 4.5 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.1 assists. With the addition of Princeton transfer Kaitlyn Chen and No. 1 freshman recruit, Sarah Strong, the two sophomores are expected to play a reduced role in the 2024-25 season.
Azzi Fudd's return to the court will be delayed
Azzi Fudd played just two games last season, averaging 11.0 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists. While she has been in recovery for nearly a year, the guard is yet to receive clearance to suit up for the 2024-25 season.
During UConn's first official practice on Thursday, Huskies coach Geno Auriemma provided an update about Azzi Fudd's potential return to the court.
"Certainly she won't be ready the first week of November or the second week of November, last shot at the NCAA championship.
