UConn basketball stars Paige Bueckers and Azzi Fudd have taken over the internet with their dance moves while donning stylish crop tops. The lively video showcases the playful side of UConn stars who will be returning to the program for the upcoming season.
The clip shared by Fudd on TikTok reflected her off-court chemistry with Bueckers. In the caption, she wrote:
"Heard we're in a content drought #notadraft @Paige Bueckers @olivia."
This was not the first time that Buckers showed off her dancing moves. She is a well-liked celebrity on social media and has been spotted in the same mood many times.
She went to the WNBA All-Star game earlier this month and posted her dance moves in her signature slicked-back bun hairstyle from Arizona.
Apart from her off-court brilliance, Paige Bueckers has also been a phenom on the court for UConn. The Naismith College Player of the Year 2021 is being looked at as the new face of women's college basketball by many fans after announcing her return for her fifth season.
"I can't put into words what this program has meant to me, what you guys have meant to me," Bueckers said (h/t Yahoo Sports). ... I know everybody wants me to address the elephant in the room. Unfortunately, this will ... not be my last senior night here at UConn. I'm coming back!"
Bueckers averaged 21.9 ppg, 5.2 rpg and 3.8 apg while shooting 53% last season. She led UConn to the Final Four of the 2024 NCAA tournament and was named the Big East Player of the Year at the end of the season.
On the other hand, Azzi Fudd will be returning to UConn for her fourth season at the program and in college basketball. As a junior last season, she could only play two matches following an ACL injury. Returning from injury, she will be looking to make a comeback in the upcoming season.
That being said, Bueckers and Fudd are expected to carry forward their off-court chemistry to the court next season and win another national title for the Huskies.
