Paige Bueckers displayed their competitiveness against KK Arnold in a game, answering some of the Connecticut Children's Quiz questions. The video was filmed during the "Geno for the Kids" charity event, in support of the Connecticut Children's Foundation.

The questions were based on the hospital and Paige Bueckers, along with Arnold and other UConn players like Azzi Fudd, Aubrey Griffin and Ice Brady, participated in the challenge.

The round between Bueckers and Arnold seemed to be the most competitive, as the senior guard argued every call. A fan reposted the video on X and wrote:

"Don’t ever put me in a game with Paige unless it’s football cause I think I’ll cry 🥲💀"

The original video posted to the Geno for the Kids Instagram handle showed that a round 2 is to be released with more footage of KK Arnold and Bueckers going up against each other.

While she may incite arguments for fun with Arnold, Paige Bueckers has also credited her for playing a key role in building the team's chemistry.

“She can build chemistry with anyone, like that’s what she what she does, who she is,” Bueckers said (via CT Insider). “She just has this amazing energy and gets people to really come out of their shell.”

KK Arnold talks about her changed role on the team for the next season

Despite it being her first year, coach Auriemma was forced to play KK Arnold and other freshman recruits for full minutes because the more experienced players were sidelined with injuries. Arnold started in 33 games and played an average of 30.3 minutes while finishing with 8.9 points, 3.1 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 2.3 steals.

However, in the upcoming season, it is expected that the sophomore guard will take on a smaller role. Azzi Fudd and Aubrey Griffin have returned to the starting guard role, along with Paige Bueckers. Transfer signee Kaitlyn Chen is expected to be the replacement for Nika Muhl as a starter.

“I kind of carry myself differently in terms of I've been here before and let's see what we can do differently this year,” KK Arnold said via CT Insider. "This year, me being a point guard and another guard for them, I have to step out of my shell a little bit more and kind of be a voice."
“Another voice because when opportunities come at hand if Paige or Kaitlyn is off the court, then it's kind of in my hands, like just rallying everybody together and being a big voice and big leader in terms of what we want on the offensive end and defensive intensity.”

Despite the injury-ridden roster, the UConn Huskies managed to advance to the Final Four last season. With all the latest additions, expectations are high for the new roster to finally end the nine-year championship drought.
