"We back baby": Dawn Staley flexes muscles in gym with South Carolina coaching staff in latest X snap 

South Carolina Gamecocks coach Dawn Staley shared USC women's sports performance coach Molly Binetti's post which featured a photo of herself with the Gamecocks coaching staff flexing their muscles in a gym.

"We back baby! Thank you Molly! Thank you game day gang! Got it in! Let’s get it!!" she wrote in caption.

The Gamecocks remain top contenders for the national championship title in this campaign, gunning for a historical fourth title and a consecutive second under coach Staley. South Carolina improved to 11-1 following a dominant 82-46 victory over the Charleston Southern Buccaneers on Dec. 19.

No. 2 South Carolina women's basketball will take on Wofford on Sunday. Ahead of the game, Dawn Staley revealed that the holiday had "decompressed" the young athletes, which makes it hard to get them back in the game.

"It’s hard, it’s hard. It’s hard work in here. It’s not just in here. It’s the preparation to get to here, the preparation for games, the expectations, the responsibility, the pressures. The pressure not just from what we put on them, the pressures of social media. So it’s really, really hard," Staley said.

"So when they have a chance to take a break from it all, they’re like any of us. You decompress. And then you’ve got to look forward to work the next day. It’s like coming off a vacation. You ain’t looking forward to that day that you return. But you got to do it because you’re disciplined, and you got responsibility. And no matter what you just came off of, you got to get back to the flow of things."

Staley wants the Gamecocks to play to their standards, including not giving up on easy baskets, being willing to be disciplined on offense, getting some reversals, and playing selfless basketball.
