South Carolina women's basketball announced via social media on Wednesday that the highly anticipated contest between the top-five-ranked programs will now take place on Friday at 5 p.m. ET.

A matchup featuring two of the best coaches in women's college basketball — South Carolina's Dawn Staley and LSU's Kim Mulkey — promises to be must-watch television.

The Tigers are one of the few undefeated teams this season, boasting a 20-0 record and a 5-0 mark in conference play. Their potent offense averages 90.6 ppg on shooting splits of 48.9% from the field and 33.2% from 3-point range, outpacing opponents by an average margin of 28.4 points.

Four players highlight LSU's offense by scoring in double digits. Flau'jae Johnson leads the way with 19.9 ppg, Aneesah Morrow provides a double-double of 18.7 ppg with 14.2 rebounds per game, while Mikaylah Williams puts up 16.4 ppg and 4.5 rpg.
