The Wisconsin Badgers' active search for a 2025 class prospect is heating up, as they extended a scholarship to Braylon Mullins, a four-star recruit, on Saturday. Last week, Head Coach Greg Gard completed Wisconsin's last scholarship position by recruiting Andrija Vukovic, a freshman center from Serbia, for the 2024 season. Now, they are already working hard to find new players for the 2025 class.

Mullins, a 6-foot-5 guard, expressed his gratitude for the offer on X:

"After a great conversation with Greg Gard I am blessed to receive a Division 1 offer from Badgers!! Thank you for the opportunity!"

Braylon Mullins is ranked No. 13 among shooting guards in 247Sports' class of 2025, is the top five recruit from Indiana, and ranks 66th overall nationwide. Greg Gard's Wisconsin Badgers are the latest to join the list of teams who have extended him an offer, however, he has not yet set an official date to visit the college.

Mullins has already got 28 offers on the table from several of the nation's top programs, including Alabama, UConn, Kansas, Indiana, Michigan State, Purdue, Notre Dame, Illinois and North Carolina. The Hoosiers are leading with a high probability of signing Mullins, with a 40.3% chance according to On3.

So far Mullins has made 71 appearances in varsity basketball for Greenfield-Central High School. In the 2023-24 season, he averaged 25.0 points, 6.2 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 3.2 steals per game.

New additions revamp Wisconsin Badgers

Wisconsin Badgers head coach Greg Gard overhauled the roster in the offseason. The Badgers finished fifth in the Big Ten with a conference record of 11-9. They reached the Big Ten tournament final and were knocked out in the first round of the NCAA tournament.

During the offseason, Gard had to make significant changes to the squad after many players departed. AJ Storr, Connor Essegian, Chucky Hepburn, Ross Candelino, Isaac Lindsey and Gus Yalden are among a few who left the Badgers. Wisconsin brought in notable transfers, Camren Hunter, Xavier Amos and John Tonje, to replace the roles vacated by departing players.

Hunter, a former point guard at Central Arkansas averaged 16.9 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.9 assists in the 2022-23 season. Likewise, another young talent Xavier Amos joined the Badgers from Northern Illinois. The 6-foot-8 four-star recruit averaged 13.8 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game last season.

Besides, two players have verbally committed to the Wisconsin Badgers for 2025: Will Garlock from Middleton, Wisconsin and Zach Kinziger, a shooting guard from De Pere.
