"Yeah twin!": Cooper Flagg, Cayden Boozer and more join fans to congratulate Ace Flagg's college commitment

Cooper Flagg’s brother, Ace Flagg, announced his commitment to the Maine Black Bears on Tuesday. The 6-foot-9 forward chose the University of Maine over scholarship offers from Pennsylvania, Richmond, George Washington, West Virginia, St. Joseph’s University, Boston College, Florida Gulf Coast and others. It was also the only school he had visited.

Ace Flagg is currently unrated by 247Sports. He shares a special bond with Maine, which intends to feature the small forward as its focal point. Flagg shared his college update through a brief mixtape of his high school plays.

"Coming Home #committed," the post read.

Several NCAA players and recruiting leaders congratulated Ace Flagg for his commitment:

"Congrats broski," Cayden Boozer wrote.
"Yessir ace!!!" LSU's Curtis Givens commented.
"Meant to be," UConn's Liam McNeeley wrote.
"Welcome to the family, dude! Pumped for ya!" Troy Barnies commented.
"LETS GO ACE !!!!" Ohio State's Sean Stewart wrote.

His brother, Cooper Flagg, also chipped in. The Duke Blue Devil reposted a graphic from Big Time Hoops Maine about Ace's college decision:

Cooper Flagg and Ace Flagg carving separate journeys

Cooper Flagg and Ace Flagg spend significant time together on the court. They led Nokomis High School to the 2022 state Class A title as high school freshmen. They then transferred to the Montverde Academy in Florida, where they won the Chipotle Nationals and carved out their own paths.

As Flagg found national success, he reclassified himself to be eligible for the 2025 NBA draft. Soon, he committed to Duke. On the other hand, Ace Flagg joined the Greensboro Day School in North Carolina, where he will play his final season.
