Flau'jae Johnson celebrated this Christmas with her family, and her mother, Kia Brooks, shared a few glimpses of them exchanging presents with fans via her Instagram Story on Thursday. Brooks' Christmas gift for the LSU guard was from the $326.54 billion (per Macro trends) brand Louis Vuitton.
The video features an excited Johnson, who said in the video that she would be getting her hair done to open the present, Brooks wrote:
"Yesterday was so beautiful. I love my kids."
Flau'jae Johnson's holiday break from the court began on a high note as she and the LSU Tigers wrapped this year's run of the regular season undefeated. The guard was part of the national championship-winning squad in 2023 but has expressed a desire to lead her own team to win the NCAA title again.
"I really wanna win the national championship," she said. "I felt it before, but I wanna lead my team to win. Like, I feel like if I don't win another championship, it's gonna be a failure for me. I like to just shoot for the moon and work really hard and try to see where I land."
Flau'jae Johnson shared her top holiday song
In the spirit of the holiday season, Flau'jae Johnson shared her favorite holiday song in an episode of her podcast, "Best of Both Worlds.'
"My top holiday song — it's not that Mariah Carey song. ... I respect the hustle but ... I love Swae Lee song," Johnson said. "He did a Christmas song I listen to it all the time. It's called 'Christmas at Swae's.' I'm putting y'all down.
"I love Swae Lee. Like, I think he's super hard. I think I got a chance to meet him at the studio with Mike WiLL (Made-It). Bro, he was so chill. Him and (Slim) Jxmmi, they were so cool. But, yeah, it's called 'Christmas at Swae's.' That's my favorite Christmas song. It's fire."
Johnson also added that she likes singer Chris Brown's Christmas song as well.
"And then I gotta go with Chris Brown, the original. Chris Brown 'This Christmas,' like, yes, of course, because that's my favorite movie," Johnson said.
With the holiday break coming to a close, Flau'jae Johnson is set to return to action on Sunday against Albany.
