South Carolina Gamecocks coach Dawn Staley is in Los Angeles ahead of the highly anticipated game against the UCLA Bruins on Sunday, November 24 at the Pauley Pavilion. However, Staley is not in LA for only the Gamecocks game. The Philadelphia native is a diehard Philadelphia Eagles fan and she has continuously displayed her love at any chance.
Known for her stylish sideline looks, Staley shared a photo on X from the airport on November 23, wearing a green Eagles jacket, showing off her team pride.
"EAGLES @eagles!! Let's gooooooooo! Philly STAND UP in LA!!!"
Gamecocks guard, Raven Johnson dropped a comment to support the coach.
"You a bad Mama Jama."
Staley became the first black woman to coach the Gamecocks after taking over from Susan Walvius in May 2008. Under her leadership, the Gamecocks won three national titles and have lost only three games. They remain undefeated, winning 43 games so far in the 2023-24 season.
