Zvonimir Ivišić celebrates Reed Sheppard and Rob Dillingham's NBA draft picks with congratulatory posts

As expected, Reed Sheppard and Rob Dillingham heard their names called as the top 10 picks in the 2024 NBA draft. While Alex Sarr and Zaccharie Risacher went 1-2, Sheppard was selected as the third pick by the Houston Rockets. Dillingham, on the other hand, was picked eighth overall and traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Zvonimir Ivisic posted on Instagram to congratulate his former Kentucky Wildcats teammates for successfully turning their big league dreams into a reality.

As Sheppard and Dillingham made strides to get their NBA hats on, Zvonimir Ivisic transferred from the Kentucky Wildcats program to John Calipari's Arkansas.

Ivisic, the 7-foot-2 Croatian big man, scored 13 points and had five rebounds, three blocks and two assists in his debut game for the Wildcats and immediately turned heads when he drained three triples.

In 15 games, he averaged 5.5 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks in 11.7 minutes while shooting 37.5% on 3-pointers.

What will Rob Dillingham and Reed Sheppard bring to their NBA teams?

The Minnesota Timberwolves traded with the San Antonio Spurs to get their hands on Rob Dillingham. They will send their unprotected 2031 first-round pick and also swap a protected 2030 pick.

At 6-foot-1, Dillingham brings raw experience and plenty of growing opportunities. He averaged 15.2 points, 3.9 assists and 2.9 rebounds under 24 minutes in his lone collegiate season. While Dillingham is a dynamic shot-creator and can log significant minutes off the bench, his biggest asset comes from the 3-point line (44.4% behind the arc).

The 6-foot-2, Reed Sheppard joins the Houston Rockets that also features a couple of undersized guards in Fred VanVleet and Jalen Green. However, Sheppard is young and brings promising IQ and versatility to the floor. He posted 12.5 points, 4.1 rebounds and 4.5 assists with Kentucky last season and knocked down a whopping 52.1% of his three-point shots in the process.
