Nick Pringle is a college basketball forward for the South Carolina Gamecocks in the Southeastern Conference, as of January 2025. Pringle began his collegiate basketball journey at Wofford College. In his solitary year at Wofford, Pringle recorded his first career double-double, amassing 17 points and 11 boards. Throughout his freshman season, he accumulated 30 points and 32 rebounds. At the end of the 2021 season, Pringle transferred to Dodge City Community College. During his time at Dodge City, he recorded season-high 20 points in matchups against Hunchinson and Cloud County, respectively. 247Sports also rated him as the no. 1 JUCO power forward and the no.2 JUCO overall prospect.

In 2022, Pringle transferred to Alabama Over two seasons at Alabama, he played in 68 games, averaging 5.2 points and 4.1 rebounds per game. His breakthrough performance came during the 2023-2024 season when he helped lead Alabama to its first Final Four appearance in program history. Pringle averaged 6.8 points and 5.1 rebounds per game that season. Notably, he recorded three double-doubles, including a pivotal performance against Clemson in the NCAA Tournament where he scored 16 points and recorded 11 rebounds. After his successful stint at Alabama, Pringle decided to return home by signing with the Gamecocks in April 2024.
