Nique Clifford is a college basketball guard for the Colorado State Rams of the Mountain West Conference, as of 2024. Clifford is majoring in communication at Colorado and minoring in leadership. Before the Rams, he was a member of the Colorado Buffaloes. In high school, he received Student-Athlete and Citizenship Awards and was on the Honor Roll.

Nique Clifford was raised in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and attended The Vanguard School. He won the Colorado Gatorade Player of the Year award as a senior after averaging 26.3 points, 13.7 rebounds, 5.9 assists, 3.5 steals, and 2.8 blocks per game. Clifford chose to play collegiate basketball with the Colorado Buffaloes over offers from Stanford, Denver, Northern Colorado, Colorado State, and Wyoming. During his time with the Buffaloes, Clifford played 82 games and started 50. He averaged 5.4 points and 3.6 rebounds. Clifford transferred to the Colorado State Rams as a senior in 2023. He started 32 games that helped Colorado State University to its largest NCAA at-large bid in three seasons. Clifford shot 52.6% from the field, 37.7% behind the line, and 75.9% at the free throw line.
