The Ole Miss Rebels is the men's basketball team representing the University of Mississippi in the NCAA Division I Basketball. They compete in the Southeastern Conference (SEC). The Ole Miss Rebels men's basketball team was established in 1909 and play their home games at The Sandy and John Black Pavilion at Ole Miss, which has a capacity of 9,500 fans. The Rebels have appeared in ten NCAA Tournaments in the program’s history. Their visits were in the years 1981, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2001, 2002, 2013, 2015, 2019, and 2025. The team made it to the Sweet Sixteen two times, once in 2001 and again in 2025. They made it to the Round of 32 in 1999, 2001, 2013, and 2025. Ole Miss won three conference tournament championships in 1928, 1981, and 2013. The Rebels also won three conference division season titles in 1997, 1998, and 2001.

Ole Miss Rebels men's Basketball Head Coach 2024-2025

Chris Beard is the head coach of the Ole Miss Rebels men's Basketball team for the 2024–2025 season. Beard has been their head coach since 2023. He began as a graduate assistant at Texas and Incarnate Word before becoming an assistant coach at Abilene Christian and North Texas. Beard was head coach at Fort Scott Community College and Seminole State Junior College. From 2001 to 2011, he worked as the associate head coach at Texas Tech. He also coached the South Carolina Warriors, McMurry, and Angelo State, winning Lone Star Coach of the Year in 2015. Beard took Little Rock to Sun Belt regular season and tournament championships and was the Sun Belt Coach of the Year in 2016. Beard took the team at Texas Tech to the 2019 NCAA Final Four and was named the Big 12 regular season champion. He was awarded several national coaching awards, including CBS Sports and AP Coach of the Year in 2019. Beard was hired as head coach at Ole Miss in 2023.
