Patrick Beverley is trouble on the defensive end. He is one of those players that you would love to have in your team but hate to play against. Beverley is not scared of any match-up in the NBA and does not care who his opponent is. He will go out to the floor every single night and do his best to keep the best offensive players in check.

He has been ejected multiple times in his career due to him getting into the opponent’s head which makes them lose their cool and get in a physical altercation with Beverley. He is a physical defender who loves to get all over his opponent and try to rip the ball away from them. He was named to the NBA All-Defensive Team 3 times in his career and rightfully so. He has averaged 1.1 steals per game and 0.5 blocks per game throughout his career.

Beverley is the sole definition of how a player does not need to score 20-25 points every game to stay in the NBA. He has mastered the art of hustling which makes him a very valuable piece to a team.

He has always worked very hard to earn his keep in the NBA. He played in three different countries before getting drafted into the NBA. He played college basketball for the Arkansas Razorbacks before spending three and a half seasons overseas. He played basketball in three different countries and they are Ukraine, Greece, and Russia.

In 2009 Beverley was picked by the Los Angeles Lakers as the 42nd pick in round 2 of the NBA draft. However he was immediately traded to the Miami Heat but was cut from making it to the final roster. Beverley decided to play overseas but ultimately made a return to the NBA and has been earning his keep by giving it all out on the floor.

Patrick Beveley Height

Beverley is listed at 6 feet 1 inch. His height is much shorter than a standard guard’s size but he does not care. Beverley is the energy guy who comes off the bench and tries to excite his team with hustle plays. He previously won the NBA Hustle Award in 2017 and was once a member of the All-NBA defensive First Team in the same year. He is a tenacious player who does not slow down between any quarter of the game.

Patrick Beverley Wingspan

Beverley is only 6 feet 1 inch tall but has a wingspan of 6 feet 7 inches. He uses his length to get in his defensive stance and rip the ball away from the opposition. His impact on the defensive side of the floor is huge; last season Beverley blocked 11 three-pointers. This is really impressive because Beverley is only 6’1 and blocking a three pointer is arguably one of the the toughest things to do in the NBA.

Patrick Beverley Position

Beverley is a combo guard who can play both point guard and shooting guard. He is one of the best perimeter defenders in the NBA and is looking for his first championship with the Philadelphia 76ers this season.
