PJ Hall is an American basketball player who plays as a center for the Denver Nuggets in the NBA, as of 2024. He was born on February 21, 2002, and hails from a region in South Carolina named Spartanburg. Hall played college basketball for the Clemson Tigers in the Atlantic Coast Conference for four straight seasons. He attended high school at Dorman High School where he won the South Carolina Player of the Year title.

Hall committed to play college basketball at Clemson University. His college basketball career started modestly with Hall contributing very minimally from a statistical point of view. He averaged below 4 points. From his sophomore year, Hall began to shine averaging above 15 points. This improvement in scoring continued into his junior year and he also started to contribute with his rebounds. His performances led him to earn a spot on the All-ACC Third Team. Hall initially declared for the NBA draft in 2023 but decided to return to Clemson for his fourth year in college in spite of receiving an invite to the draft combine. His final year of college basketball saw Hall winning multiple accolades including the ACC Player of the Week, a spot on the All ACC Preseason team, and being on the watchlists of the Kareem Abdul Jabbar and Wooden awards.
