Rori Harmon is a collegiate basketball player and plays as a point guard for the Texas Longhorns, a team from the Big 12 Conference. She attended Cypress Creek High School where she began her basketball prep career. Throughout her playing career, Harmon has bagged several honors and achievements including McDonald's All-American in 2021, Big 12 Freshman of the Year, Big 12 All-Freshman Team, Big 12 All-Defensive Team, All-Big 12 Second Team, Big 12 Tournament Most Outstanding Player in 2022, Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year, Big 12 All-Defensive Team for the second time, and All-Big 12 First Team in 2023.

Harmon played 146 games at Cypress Creek High School where she recorded 2,572 points and had 745 assists with 700 steals. She began her college football career with the Texas Longhorns in 2020 and managed to become the starting point guard for the side. She led the Longhorns to their first Big 12 Championship since 2003 by scoring a career-high 30 points against Iowa State. Harmon had a successful freshman year as she earned All-America Honorable Mention honors by the Associated Press (AP) and the Women’s Basketball Coaches Associations (WBCA). In the 2022-23 season, she averaged 7.4 assists per game, which was a record for a single-season assist average. As a junior, she played in 12 games before her injury which limited her season.
