Saylor Poffenbarger is a guard for the Maryland Terrapins of the Big Ten Conference at the collegiate level. Prior to the Terrapins, Saylor played for the UConn Huskies from 2020-2021 and the Arkansas Razorbacks from 2021-2024. Poffenbarger attended Middletown High School. During her time there, she won gold at the 2019 FIBA Americas U16 Championship. During that tournament, Poffenbarger averaged 7.2 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 3.7 assists.

In 2023–24, she started 30 games and set the Arkansas record for defensive rebounds with 225. She averaged 10.2 points per game and led the club in defensive rebounds and 11.2 rebounds per game.
Saylor finished her redshirt sophomore season with two 20-point games, nine double-doubles, 19 double-digit rebound games, and 14 double-figure scoring games. As a junior, she has already earned four double-doubles for Maryland and scored in double figures in six games, earning her a spot on the Cheryl Miller Award Watch List.
