Two of Hall of Famer Shaquille O'Neal's kids were recently seen on social media chopping it up over a video edit. Florida Gators freshman guard Me'arah O'Neal uploaded a video edit of herself with highlights from her first 15 games of college basketball on her Instagram account on Tuesday.
The full highlight reel includes clips from Me'arah's pregame routines and games.
Her brother, Florida A&M junior forward Shaqir O'Neal, has since dropped a subtle reaction to his sister's montage in the comments section.
"Babygirl," he commented.
Other fans have followed suit in support of the 6-foot-4 standout who is looking to make an immediate impact for the Florida Gators (10-6, 1-1 Southeastern Conference).
"Tell em muscle up!!!," sister Amirah O'Neal posted.
"Let’s goooo ! Big dawg, not the little one," one user wrote with a fire emoji.
"Baby Shaq," another user said.
"You are a joy to watch. Keep it going," another shared.
"Dayummmm," Pittsburgh Panthers senior Bella Perkins wrote with a shivering emoji.
As more support poured in for Me'arah's video summary of her season at Florida, she is averaging 5.1 points and 4.3 rebounds per game as the team is coming off a 16-point conference victory over the Georgia Bulldogs on Sunday.
The Gators and O'Neal host the No. 15 Kentucky Wildcats (13-1, 2-0) on Thursday.
Shaqir O'Neal is having a career year since transferring to Florida A&M
For Shaqir O'Neal, however, he is enjoying his newfound home in the Florida A&M Rattlers program since playing for the Texas Southern Tigers in his first two seasons. He's averaging a career-high 9.2 ppg and 3.6 rpg since posting up just 1.8 ppg and 1.8 rpg just a year ago.
This hasn't translated into victories for the Rattlers (3-9, 0-1 Southwestern Athletic Conference), however, as they just lost their SWAC opener to the Bethune-Cookan Wildcats 62-55 on Saturday.
O'Neal is hoping to contribute further to his new squad as they visit the Southern Jaguars (7-8, 2-0) on Saturday.
