Florida A&M player Shaqir O'Neal had a smashing Christmas celebration if his video with his brother Myles is concerned.
The son of NBA great and former LSU superstar Shaquille O'Neal was in the last part of Myles' video posted on Instagram on Christmas day with the caption:
"The Menace has returned, Merry Christmas to you all."
In the video, Myles roamed around the house, greeting his family, bringing Christmas cheer and doing his shenanigans. He also kissed his mother, who is wrapped as a Christmas present.
Myles continued walking outside and saw the 6-foot-7 Shaqir appeared to be preparing something for him. The 27-year-old TV personality and DJ greeted the basketball player, and both shook hands until Shaqir grabbed him and threw him on the table.
Shaqir seems to be auditioning for a gig in the WWE, AEW or TNA if his basketball career fails to pan out. Perhaps there will be another installment of "The Menace of Christmas" next year if Myles is fully healed.
Shaqir O'Neal has been playing well for Florida A&M since his transfer from Texas Southern
Shaqur O'Neal has played well since his transfer to Florida A&M. His first two seasons with Texas Southern didn't bode well for him, scoring 63 points in 41 games.
His unsuccessful stint with the Tigers led him to try the transfer portal and he found a home with the Rattlers. He has started seven of the team's 10 games, averaging 9.6 points and 3.8 rebounds.
O'Neal is shooting 52.1% from the field and 63.6% from the free-throw line. His career high was 26 points in FAMU's 110-68 win over Trinity Baptist on Nov. 22.
The Rattlers (3-7) will have their final nonconference game on Sunday against Tarleton State. Florida A&M will begin its SWAC regular season stint against Bethune-Cookman in Tallahassee on Jan. 4.
Florida A&M last played in the NCAA Tournament in 2007, when it lost to Niagara in the opening round. Last season, the Rattlers finished with a 6-23 record and were 4-14 in the SWAC.
The team hopes the addition of Shaqir O'Neal will help it win the SWAC regular season and tournament titles for an NCAA Tournament berth for the first time in 18 years.
