The redshirt junior was previously playing for Texas Southern. Additionally, he played for Union Grove for his high school career. At Texas, the University where he started his college basketball career, O’Neal was a red-shirt in his freshman year in the 2021-22 season. His collegiate debut came in the following season when he played against San Francisco which was his redshirt freshman season.

The American college basketball player registered his first point at college at USF before he recorded his career-best 12 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists in 28 minutes against North American, as per his college roster.
