The South Carolina Gamecocks is a college women’s basketball team that represents the University of South Carolina in NCAA Division I Basketball. They were founded in 1923. The team competes in the Southeastern Conference (SEC) and plays home games at Colonial Life Arena, which has a capacity of 18,000. The 2024-2025 women’s team is managed by the head coach, Dawn Staley, and it’s his seventeenth season at South Carolina. The Gamecocks represent the Garnet and black colours.
