It is impossible to be an NBA fan and not know who Steph Curry is. Known commonly as the baby-faced assassin, Curry is credited for revolutionizing the game of basketball. With his godly shooting ability and incredible handles, Curry is an absolute nightmare on the court and often leaves defenders perplexed as to how to guard him.

There are a lot of things that come to mind when we think of Steph Curry — his handles, his finishing skills, and his leadership skills to name a few. But all these are shadowed by his incredible ability to shoot the basketball. Unanimously regarded as the greatest shooter on the planet, Curry is often recognized as the gold standard for shooting. His greatest asset is his 3-point shooting. Few things scare defenders more than Steph Curry rising up with his silky-smooth release to shoot from the 3-point line.

Steph Curry 3-point Field Goals

Steph Curry has made 3,758 threes as of October 2024. That is more than 11,000 points in just 3s alone. Curry stands alone as the all-time leader in 3-pointers made. No other player has even made 3,000 threes. Curry also holds the record for the most threes made in a single season with 402. He has also had seven seasons leading the league in 3-pointers made, the most in NBA history.

How many games has Steph Curry missed in his career?

In his career, Steph Curry has missed a total of 223 games. In the early days of his career, Steph was known for being injury-prone and got the nickname ‘glass ankles’ for having recurring ankle injuries. He played most of the first two seasons, missing only a total of 10 games, but in his third season, he started having constant ankle injuries and missed 40 games that season.

After that, he had a string of healthy seasons, missing only a total of 16 games in five seasons, an incredible feat for a person whose career looked like it could be derailed with injuries. After the 2016-17 season, the injury bug struck Curry again as he missed 31 games the following season. Since then, with the advent of load management, Curry has always gone on to miss around 13-15 every season.

Curry has made it clear that he wants to make himself available for every game the following season. It would be great to see Chef Curry in action every night and we know for sure that is what the fans want to see as well!
