Stephon Javonte Castle is an American basketball player who played his freshman year of college basketball for the UConn Huskies basketball team. Averaging 11.1 PPG, 4.7 RPG, and 2.9 APG in the 2023-24 season, Castle was an important member of the Huskies team that won its second consecutive NCAA Championship. Castle is well adept at playing both the point guard and the shooting guard positions and his versatility will be an important factor as he heads to the professional league.

Prior to his freshman year at UConn, Castle, who grew up in Covington, Georgia played for the Newton High School basketball team where he averaged 18.3 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists in his junior and senior years. He was rated as a 4-star recruit coming out of high school and had offers from other universities such as Auburn, Georgia, Ohio State, and more.
