During the 2023-2024 season, he returned to the starting lineup after a hamstring injury. Mitchell was a major contributor on the defensive end, leading the team with 62 steals in BIG EAST conference games with an average of 1.88 per game. Mitchell won the Berks Player of the Year twice and led the league in scoring in his final two seasons. He also guided the team to back-to-back league championships. Mitchell finished his high school career with 2,060 points, ranking him fourth in the league’s history. During his senior season, he averaged 25.6 points per game, the highest mark in 20 years. As a junior, he earned a spot in the all-state first-team, leading Wilson to its first-ever district championship while averaging 22.3 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 2.6 steals per game. He earned a selection in the all-league and all-county teams during his sophomore year, for averaging 20.6 points per game. He also played AAU Circuit for Philly Pride, where he helped the team win the national championship in 2019, and was also named the MVP. As of March 2025, Mitchell has averaged 10.9 points, and 4.1 rebounds with 1.5 assists per game during his senior season (via ESPN).
