Stevie Mitchell plays as a guard for the Marquette Golden Eagles basketball team and is a senior in the 2024-2025 season. Mitchell is a native of Reading, Pennsylvania, and graduated from Wilson High School. He played in all 36 games during the 2022-23 season following his appearance in 32 games as a substitute in the 2021-2022 season. Mitchell gained his first professional start in the season's opener against Radford, registering 11 points and seven rebounds. Mitchell also added seven rebounds against Creighton on January 1.
Stevie Mitchell won numerous athletic and academic achievements. He was named to the BIG EAST All-Academic Team during the 2021-2022, 2022-2023, and 2023-2024 seasons. In the 2023-2024 season, Mitchell was also named to the CSC Academic All-America Third Team and the CSC Academic All-District team. He was awarded the Academic Excellence Award and the UBUNTU Award. Mitchell also earned the Hank Raymonds Sportsmanship Award in 2021-2022 and was named the Deflection Champion.
