Taylor McCabe is a collegiate basketball guard for the Iowa Hawkeyes in the Big-Ten Conference. McCabe began playing basketball while she was a student at Fermont High School. She was named the 2022 Gatorade Player of the Year and the Nebraska Coaches Association Player of the Year during high school.
According to ESPN, she was the 88th-best recruit in the United States in 2022. Taylor's career total of 2000 points made her the first Nebraska guard to do so. She finished high school with 389 three-pointers, breaking the Nebraska Class A three-point record as a freshman. Taylor McCabe played for All Iowa Attack (2020–21) under Dickson Jensen, making the second team and winning the 2021 Nike Nationals Tournament.
