Terrance Arceneaux is a college basketball forward who has entered his redshirt sophomore campaign with the Houston Cougars in the 2024-25 season. He attended Beaumont United High School, where he averaged 20.9 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in his junior year, according to the Cougars’ official website. He also led Timberwolves to the Class 5A state championship. As a senior, he posted 15.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per contest and led the team to their second successive Class 5A title. His contributions led him to the Most Outstanding Player honour. Arceneaux was rated a four-star recruit and was ranked No.66 nationally in the 2022 recruiting class. Despite receiving offers from Oklahoma, UNLV, and Texas A&M, Arceneaux started his collegiate journey with the Houston Cougars in 2022.

As a freshman, Arceneaux participated in 34 games and averaged 3.7 points and 2.5 rebounds per contest (via ESPN). Last season, he sustained a season-ending Achilles injury after 11 games and redshirted the year. As of April 2025, Arceneaux started six out of 38 games for the Cougars and has posted a career-high 28 3-pointers during the season.
