The Texas A&M Aggies is the men's basketball team representing Texas A&M University in the NCAA Division I Basketball. They compete in the Southeastern Conference (SEC). The program started in 1912 and has a total record of 1,528–1,339 (53.3%). The program has made 13 NCAA Tournament appearances, Sweet 16 six times, and won eleven Southwest Conference championships and one Southeastern Conference. Williams has also coached at Marquette and Virginia Tech and received the SEC Coach of the Year twice in 2020 and 2023.
