Anthony Guy Bennett, also known as Tony Bennett is a collegiate basketball coach who announced his retirement in October 2024. Tony became the men's basketball head coach for the Virginia Cavaliers in 2009. Bennett left Washington State after serving for three seasons as head coach, recording 26 wins in his first season. Tony Bennett had a remarkable 2018-19 season for the Virginia Cavaliers, winning their first National Championship ever.
