Braylon Mullins, a shooting guard from Greenfield Central HS, is ranked 24th in the latest 247Sports recruiting rankings for the class of 2025. Mullins climbed from No. 92 to No. 24 in the national rankings, after an outstanding spring and summer season on the Adidas 3SSB circuit.
"I was blown away by this guy when I saw Indiana Elite in (Adidas) 3SSB because not only is he a big-time shooter, but this guy's got some stuff to him, as we say," 247Sports Director of Scouting Adam Finkelstein said.
"I mean, he is tough. He's scrappy defensively. He’s got some lift at the rim. He checks a lot of boxes," he added.
The six-foot-five, four-star prospect had an impressive junior year at Greenfield-Central, averaging 25 points, 6.2 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game. Additionally, he put up 20.1 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game this spring for the Indiana Elite AAU team.
Braylon Mullins' recruitment has surged of late, attracting offers from UConn, Kansas, Michigan, North Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, Indiana, Virginia and several other schools.
Braylon Mullins' top three landing spots
#3 Kentucky
Braylon Mullins, a Greenfield, Indiana native, announced about making an unofficial visit to the Kentucky Wildcats on Monday, June 24.
Kentucky coach Mark Pope is heavily invested in the highly coveted prospect and traveled to Carmel, Indiana, to see Mullins in action at the 2024 Charlie Hughes Showcase.
Mullins, a dynamic guard capable of creating his own shots and his movements in fast-break situations, is a compelling candidate for the Wildcats.
#2 Michigan
Michigan coach Dusty May was among the audience who watched Braylon Mullins play on Saturday at the Charlie Hughes Invitational.
Dusty May was impressed with his season stats, but Mullins' remarkable 34-point game against Ben Davis was the icing on the cake. Mullins' offensive and defensive skill set aligns with May's style of play.
Mullins will make his official campus visit starting with May's Michigan on September 7.
#1 Indiana
Indiana was among the first schools to extend an offer to Mullins more than a year ago. Mullins has since made numerous unofficial and official trips to Bloomington since then.
He plans to accompany his fellow Indiana Elite teammates, Malachi Moreno and Trent Sisley, on an official visit during the weekend of September 21.
The Hoosiers have actively pursued him, attending his games and participating in team camps. Indiana coach Mike Woodson and his coaching team, including Kenya Hunter, Yasir Rosemond and Brian Walsh, made a thorough visit to Mullins at Greenfield-Central earlier this spring.
