Trey Galloway, born on November 28, 2001, is a shooting guard for the Indiana Hoosiers. Galloway was a four-star recruit graduating from the Culver Academies. His father, Mark, has been his coach since his childhood and has also served as the head coach of Carmel High School for eight years. However, for the past 15 years, he has been coaching at Culver. Trey won the 3A championship of the Indiana High School Boys Basketball Tournament in 2018. He averaged 20.9 points, 5.5 rebounds, 5.2 assists, and 2.3 steals per game as a senior.

Galloway, who debuted in 2020–21, chose Indiana University in July 2019 over offers from Purdue, Notre Dame, Butler, Iowa, and Nebraska, among other schools. The 2024-2025 season will be his fifth and last year of eligibility with the Hoosiers. He has, however, participated in 108 games over the course of four seasons, starting 66 of them, and averaged 6.9 points, 0.1 blocks, 0.8 steals, 2.6 assists, and 2.5 rebounds per game. He was also the Big Ten Sportsmanship Award honoree and a team captain. Further, he finished 8th in the Big Ten for 4.6 assists and 10th with a 2.17 turnover ratio.
