Tucker DeVries is a guard/forward for the West Virginia Mountaineers and plays as a senior in the 2024-2025 season. Tucker DeVries played his last three seasons at Drake University, where he received honors that included the Larry Bird Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Year and the MVC Tournament Most Outstanding Player for two consecutive years. DeVries was the only NCAA Division I men's basketball player who averaged at least 20.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.5 steals per game. DeVries is the ninth-best scorer in NCAA Division I history, with 21.6 points per game and 1,867 for his career. During his years at Drake, he was an important contributor for the Bulldogs and concluded his career at Drake with an 80-26 record. He led Drake to two NCAA Tournament appearances and two Missouri Valley Conference titles. Tucker registered 250 career 3-point field goals and maintained a free throw percentage of 81.2%. DeVries was named to the Associated Press All-America Honorable team and was placed on the NABC All-District Team. In his career, he registered 734 points and reached double figures in two seasons out of three. His career-high performance was against UIC with 39 points and 13 rebounds.
