Australian college basketball player Tyrese Proctor plays as a guard for the Duke Blue Devils, a team which competes in the Atlantic Coast Conference. He is a junior as of February 2025. The Aussie got offers from programs like Arizona, Arizona State, Oklahoma and Tennessee before he chose Duke University according to the player's roster profile on the university website. In the 2022-23 season, he was an ACC All-Freshman Team selection.

Proctor played in all 36 games for the Duke and became one of the four players from the team to attend all the games. Among the 36 games, he started in 34 games and scored 9.4 points becoming the team’s third leading scorer. In the ACC play, he played 20 games and started 18 of them averaging 9.8 points. In the 2023-24 season, Proctor was selected as one of the captains for the season to become the fourth captain in sophomore season in the history of the program. The following season, he was named to Bob Cousy Point Guard of the Year Top 20 Preseason Watch List.
