
Tyrese Proctor plays collegiate basketball for the Duke Blue Devils men's basketball team in the Atlantic Coast Conference. Proctor is in his junior year and plays as a guard. He started his career with the Blue Devils in 2022. According to Duke Blue Devils' official website, Proctor received ACC All-Freshman Team selection and was one of four Blue Devils to play in all 36 games as a freshman. Proctor, along with senior Jeremy Roach and graduate student Ryan Young, was chosen as one of the three team captains for the 2023–24 campaign.

Proctor rejected offers from Tennessee, Arizona State, Oklahoma, and Arizona in favor of Duke.
