The USC Trojans women’s basketball team represents the University of Southern California in collegiate basketball. The team competes in the Big Ten Conference and made 18 NCAA tournament appearances, as of January 2025. Lindsay Gottlieb is the head coach for the USC Trojans women’s basketball team. She has entered her fourth year with the program in 2024. She led USC to a historic run in the NCAA Elite Eight last season and the program’s second-ever Pac-12 Tournament title.
She joined the USC program in 2021 after spending more than a decade with California and UC Santa Barbara. In her eight seasons with the Golden Bears, Gottlieb guided California to seven NCAA Tournament appearances and a spot in the Final Four.

Associate Head Coach
The legendary Beth Burns entered her third season on Gottlieb’s coaching staff in 2024. Before joining the program in 2022, she spent five seasons at Louisville serving as the special assistant to head coach. Burns also had coaching stints at East Carolina and Colorado.
Assistant Coach
Wendale Farrow, Willnett Crockett, and Courtney Jaco are the assistant coaches of the USC Trojans women’s basketball team. Farrow has entered his fourth season as an assistant coach and also worked with Gottlieb during her coaching spell with the California Golden Bears.
Willnett Crockett joined the USC staff as an assistant coach in the summer of 2023. Before her arrival in California, Crockett spent 13 years as an assistant coach at Temple.
Courtney Jaco has entered her second year as an assistant on Lindsay Gottlieb’s coaching staff having served the last two seasons as director of player development.
