LSU star and rapper Flau'jae Johnson is having an incredible summer off the court. Johnson has been keeping busy, from releasing her first rap album to attending the global premiere of Amazon Prime's docuseries "The Money Game" and most recently, making an appearance at the LSU Tiger's game against Nicholls State.

On Saturday, Johnson shared glimpses from the football game on her Instagram story. She was vibing with the crowd at the Tiger Stadium as she danced and chanted with the fans in an LSU uniform and camouflage pants.

Before the game, Johnson was outside the Pete Maravich Assembly Center, singing and giving away the merch of her track, "Came Out A Beast."

At half-time, Flau'jae Johnson had a brief interview with SEC Network's Alex Chappel when she was asked if there was anything specific she is working on for the upcoming college basketball season.

"I think for me, just being the leader and I'm trying to intel what like being a leader is and trying to lead the team, Flau'jae said. " I know the system, I know Coach Mulkey, so I have to go display that every day.

Johnson also shared her music journey collaborating with rap legend Lil Wayne.

"It has been amazing. I've been doing this for so long and now everything starting to pay off," Flau'jae added. "I get to live both of my dreams, be a college basketball player and a rapper. Just drop the song with Lil Wayne. It don't get much better than that. For real."

LSU Tigers secured the first victory of the season in the home opener against Nicholls State after a defeat against USC in the first week.

Flau'jae Johnson compares Kim Mulkey with Beyonce

Flau'jae Johnson, who will enter her third year at LSU, compared the school's head coach Kim Mulkey to iconic singer Beyonce.

Speaking with US Weekly last week, Johnson discussed her experience playing at LSU and working with Mulkey.

"I think people think she’s this villain," Johnson said. "But she just don’t care about social media. She don’t care about the media. She don’t care to clear her name. She’s kinda like Beyonce. She just lets it flow. Whatever the opinion is, is what it is. She don’t really care to adjust it."

Flau'jae Johnson, who won the national championship under Mulkey in 2023, featured the coach in her music video, "Came Out A Beast." The track has also been listed on the NFL's official playlist for this season.
