Kiyan Anthony once shared that the vision behind his clothing brand, 'One Way,' went beyond opening just another store. He said that he aimed to promote a lifestyle through his business endeavor.
In "Overtime" episode 6 of Evolution on September 2, 2023, Anthony went on to detail the philosophy behind his clothing line:
"After the game I linked up with my boy Jaden to go over the brand One Way it's a clothing brand but we're really trying to promote a whole lifestyle not just clothes."
The two friends were struck with the idea in February 2023. Even though Kiyan loved playing basketball, he cherished his clothing ideas coming to life.
Kiyan shared that finding meaning behind everything and taking it to the next level was the primary motivation:
"The end goal is to open up a whole store and everything like we are trying to take it to the next level."
In the September 16 episode of Overtime, 10-time NBA All-star Carmelo Anthony admired the entrepreneurial spirit of his multi-talented son:
"I'm proud of him that he took it upon himself to set a little business up for him and not wait for me or his mom to set it up. It's like he's doing himself."
Anthony averaged 21.8 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 2.5 assists in the 2024 Nike Peach Jam tournament. In the game against Mac Irvin Fire, he dropped 40 points.
