American college basketball player Kam Jones is a guard for Marquette Golden Eagles, a team which competes in Big East Conference NCAA Division I. He is in his Senior year as of February 2025. During his freshman season in 2021-22, he made his collegiate debut against SIUE and scored four points. He got his first start of the season against Jackson State in which he managed to play for 24 minutes while recording eight points, five assists and two rebounds.

As a sophomore, his name was enlisted to the Rocket Mortgage Fort Myers Tip-Off all-tourney team following his performance when he averaged 16.5 ppg. in two games. Jones went on to score a career-high 26 points which he recorded against Wisconsin. After entering his junior season, he became the 51st player in the history of the program to register 1,000 career points with a 20-point effort against Butler.

In his previous season with the school, Jones had led his side to the Division 2-A semifinals following his performance as he averaged 20.4 points per game in the 2019-2020 season. He was honored with the MVP award in addition to sharing the district's top player award.

As a sophomore, his name was enlisted in all-district after Jones averaged 14.3 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game. He was also named the team’s most valuable player in the 2018-2019 season.
