Lauren Betts is a junior college basketball player who plays as a center for the UCLA Bruins, a team that competes in the Big Ten Conference. She attended Grandview High School before starting her college basketball career. At Stanford, Betts played in 33 games and averaged 5.9 points, 3.5 rebounds, and nearly one block in 9.7 minutes per game in the 2022-23 season. For her nation side, she won two gold medals for the United States, one in the 2021 FIBA U19 World Cup which was held in Hungary, and the other one 2019 FIBA Americas U16 Championship in Chile.

In the 2023-24 season, Lauren Betts registered a career-high 18 rebounds which she recorded against Florida State which was ranked No. 20 that season. Betts ended the season with three back-to-back double-doubles and recorded 12 that year. She attended 29 games and started 27 of them, averaging 27.2 minutes per game.
